at the recent "return to troy" event i asked during court for anyone that
had any suggestions for next years return to troy to contact me privately
with them. i received a few emails and yes!!! we will have port a johns
close to the field! i agree!

however, it was recently brought to my attention that many of you from
across several groups in the kingdom spoke to lady kilmeny as a member of
the hosting canton expressing your concerns and fears over the safety of the
two sets. she has told me that several fighters chose not to fight that day
and that they too expressed concerns about the safety of the sets. she has
expressed the thoughts of many of you from all across the kingdom both from
active and participatory fighters as well as fighters that decided not to
fight. the assumption she gave me was because of the sets.

this troubles me greatly as not only me, but former kingdom earl marshal syr
william the stout, his highnesss duke cuan and our current earl marshall sir
falcone all looked at the sets and fought in them. i certainly hope we
didnt miss anything and i implore you that shared your concerns with lady
kilmeny to forward them to me. i have reviewed the tapes and i really would
like your insight and opinions to make sure that these sets were indeed
safe. they certainly appeared to hold up well to the 10 hours of fighting
we put them through but if there is even a doubt i would like to make sure
and check them out before we try them again next year.

thanks to lady kilmeny for forwarding your concerns and i look forward to
hearing from each of you regarding your ideas and thoughts on how to make
these sets even safer.

feel free to use this address or the "king" alias you will find on the
kingdom website. i look forward to seeign many of you there next year and i
thank you in advance for your commentary!

regards
logan
