Hi it's me again,

What follows is the flyer for the event called Celtic Cattle Raids

Sept 20-22 - Celtic Cattle Raids
Canton of Nimenefeld - Holly Springs, NC

Our fearsome foe from the North are attacking us to steal our Cattle and we
can not let that happen. So rise oh sons of Eire and protect our land and
processions from the evil Northmen.

Celtic, Celtic, Celtic. We're going to have Celtic Food, Celtic A&S, Celtic
Beer, Celtic Fighting, Celtic Children's Games, Celtic Air, Celtic Water,
etc. So are we getting the theme here.

Combat: There will be many scenarios and the prize of each is a cow or a
bull. At the end of the day the team with the most cattle will win the day.
Everyone will choose to be on the Windmasters' Hill team or the Stierbach
team.

A&S: The A&S competitions will be anything Celtic. You will get extra points
if your entries are cow related (leatherwork, cheese, horn carving, etc.)

The royal brewer will be sponsoring a brewing competition.

Children's Activities:There will be a castle to attack and much activities.
Some of the events might be messy so bring a second change of clothes for
the children. There will also be a demo of the youth combat for all to see.

Site: The site is Optimist Farm in Elvegast (Raleigh, NC)

Directions: from the North, East and West
Make your best way to Raleigh, NC, at Raleigh get on 440 (which is the
beltline that goes around Raleigh). go to the south side of town to exit
298A which is 401South to Fayetteville and Garner.  Go south on 401 (stay on
the right because 1.4 miles down the road the road forks, stay on the right
and go another 5.3 miles to rte Ten-Ten and turn right go .5 miles and turn
left onto Lake Wheeler Rd, go 1.2 miles and turn right onto Optimist Farm
Rd, go .9 miles turn right into the site.  There will be yellow signs and
your milage may vary.

Directions: from the South
from 95 go north on 401 after you make it through Fuquay-Varina you will
come to a light on the edge of town.  On the left is a Pop's pizza, a
carwash and an Exxon, start measuring from there.  2.8 miles north you will
come to a five way intersection at a light. turn left onto Hilltop Needmore
Rd, go .4 miles to the next light and turn right onto Lake Wheeler, go 2.3
miles and turn left onto Optimist Farm Rd, go .9 miles and turn right into
the site.  There will be yellow signs and your milage may vary.

Merchants: Merchants are very welcome, There is tons of space. Please

Cost: Owing to the new policy concerning the $3 non-membership fee, we will
be charging $9 for daytrip and $13 for camping for non-members and $6 for
daytrip and $10 for camping for members. Feast will cost $7 regardless of
membership.

Note: If you show up to the event without proof of membership you will be
required to pay the $3 non-membership fee.
