Well, this spring there were much heavier than expected rains in the Cooper's
Lake area, and the foundation of the fort got eroded away in a few places and
the place had been labeled as unsafe for use.

So, no events using the fort were scheduled during War negotiations.

However, I have it on good authority (like...the King of the Midrealm who was
at our fighter practice a few weeks ago) that a group of valiant volunteers
rebuilt the foundations and repaired the fort and it has been recertified as
allowable for use.

My understanding is that because of the lateness of the repairs there won't be
any "War Point" battles on it, but there will be at least one mass melee
sponsored by Aethelmarc (at least, those were the plans in the works).  Plus,
of course, a whole variety of other uses I am sure.

Check when you get to site.  Probably a good idea to get a subscription to the
Pennsic Paper and listen to the daily Herald cries and read the messageboards
to stay as up to date as possible.
