Good m'lord,

I do wish to take issue with your assertion that "It *is* illegal to bring
alcohol into the state over a certain amount (a  gallon, I think),
especially if it is not labeled."

I refer to the following statute, SECTION 492:

The confusion created when someone uses the blanket term "alcohol" is the
problem here. They are trying to limit the importation of Liquor.

The statute specifically allows for malt beverages, i.e., BEER that is made
privately, and no money is charged.

So, PLEASE, bring all the homebrew beer your cars can carry!
