Hi folks,

I just wanted remind everyone that when posting to the Merry Rose
please make sure you use the e-mail address that you subscribed with.
The reason I'm mentioning this now is that over the last couple of
days the Merry Rose has been hit with a *lot* of traffic from one of
the latest computer virii du jour.  There are now around 800 messages
waiting for me to go through them and decide whether or not to send
them on to the list or discard them because their either spam or
viruses.  This is just in the past few days.  Because of this, I'm
going to just go through and discard everything and unfortunately
that runs the risk of discarding some legitimate e-mail.  So, if you
had something held by the Merry Rose in the last few days that you
haven't seen show up yet, please resend it, but from a properly
subscribed address (which won't get held).  Also note that this virus
shows no sign of letting up, so this may be the case for a while. :-(

So, to recap, please make sure you send messages to the list from the
address you're subscribed with, and if you have friends who aren't
subscribed, please tell them why their posts aren't getting to the
list right now.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled discussions. :-)
