Greetings! Some new information for you...
The site fee will be $3.00, payable at the door.
The site opens at 8:30 am, and competition check-in
ENDS promply at 11:00 am. Judging will begin at 10:30
am, and continue as needed throughout the day.
I have received several inquiries from artisans
interested in displaying, but not competiting in the
pentathlon. Space permitting, non-competitive displays
will be welcome, provided that the displays conform to
the pentathlon/triathlon criteria. In other words, you
would still bring with you 5 (or 3) items directly
related to the persona of your choice. In case of a
space crunch, priority will be given to the
competitors.
Active displays will be ongoing throughout the day.
Performers (musicians, singers, dancers, jugglers,
puppeteers, etc) interested in scheduling their
activities should contact Njal Thorvaldsson (David
Gilbert, njal1000 at firstva.com or 434-293-3563).
We have outdoor space available to us, so please bring
your period outdoor games to play, and teach, and
attract general attention. ;-)
I will be attending University and the Tourney of
Ymir, and will have with me copies of flyers,
registration forms, sample judging sheets and judging
database forms. If you will not be at either of these
events and have not previously contacted me about
judging, please email me, or call! (919-408-3008)
