The next session of University of Atlantia is scheduled for Feb. 2 in
Courtland, VA, hosted by the Shire of Berley Cort. I urge you to get in your
registration to ensure that you can take the classes you want. The following
are full:
113 Making a Decade Rosary
121 Archery Back Quiver Making
127 Beg. Lampworking
402 Creating Cord & Trim w/a Lucet
517 Wire Weaving.

Class 124 Disabilities and the Populace of the SCA taught by Baroness
Annejke is a two hour class. It was listed as one hour in the Acorn.
There are two new classes being offered.
At 1:30: 328 Making a Medieval Single-pole Pavilion (Sorcha Glys, Dafydd ap
Gwystl) - History and construction of the round style "Pavalino." Each
step of the process will be covered and questions are welcome. Bring your
copy of the 2001 edition of The Oak to take notes on the article in there.
Additional copies will be available for the cost of printing. Proceeds go
to The Oak. (2 hours)
At 4:30: 614 An Introduction to the Fundamentals of Strategy (Saeric
Scireham) This class uses the works of Eastern and Western masters to
simplify the complicated concepts of Strategy into a few principles that are
easy to understand and easy to use on the battlefield. Useful to new
fighters and experienced commanders.
