  Just a Reminder!!  Holiday Revels will be this Saturday.  There will be *limited* feast spaces available at the door.  A list of classes are also available, please feel free to contact Lord Takeda. Merchants are also welcome to attend.
   I have had some gentles state that they have heard there will be fighting at the event, though it is not listed in the flyer.  I must say, no that infomation is incorrect, there will be no fighting during this event.

Barony of Nottinghill Coill, Greenville, SC

The Barony of Nottinghill Coill sends forth Greetings and invites all goode
gentles to join us in a day of Celebration and Merriment!!


Activities: There will be gaming, dancing and Classes. Games will range from Go to Chess to Nine Mens Morris, got a favorite Game, bring it with you and teach
it to others!
Speaking of teaching, informal classes will be offered to those who wish to learn. Any who wish to Teach or would like a list of classes, please contact Lord Takeda Yoshinaka
at Takedasama at aol.com. Dancing will commence immediately after Feast.

A & S: There will be two Competitions: 1) Brewing: a) Beer & Ales b) Meads & Wines c) Cordials 2) Best use of Green and/or Gold and an open display of the best period gifts.

Bardic: There will be a story telling/poetry reciting/bardic contest with a Yuletide theme during the Feast. The winner will be chosen by popular acclaim.

Feast: Will be prepared by Lady Jacquetta Edington of Yorkshire. Lord Eamonn Mac Rioghbhdain will be
preparing a Dessert Course to follow. Please contact Lady Jacquetta with any dietary concerns at:  DJacquetta at aol.com. Feast is limited to 100 Gentles.

Cost: Daytrippers $5.00. Onboard $11.00. Children: 12 & up same as adult,
under 11 are guests of the Barony. $1.00 off reservations if postmarked
before December 15th. Cut-off is December 28th. Make checks payable to:
"the Barony of Nottinghill Coill/SCA, Inc."

Site: the Church of the Redeemer, Mauldin Road, Greenville, SC. Site opens
at 9:00am and closes at 11:00pm.  The site is wet, but no original
containers will be permitted and NO pets are allowed.

Directions: Take your best route to 1-85 in Greenville. Take exit 46C Mauldin Road. If you are coming from the south you will need to turn left at the top of the ramp. Go approximately 2 blocks to the intersection of 291(Pleasantburg Drive) and Mauldin Road. Go straight through the light and the church will be on your left. There is limited parking so please park responsibly
