[MR] a very special demo in bright hills

To all Gentles within the reach of this call:
Every year the Enoch Pratt free Library holds an awards banquet to honor its 
many volunteers, of which Szilagy Margit, chronicler for the Barony of Bright 
Hills, is proud to be one. And every year, they offer some brief, outstanding 
entertainment.
This year the banquet will be held on Wednesday, April 24th from 11:30-am to 
3:00pm at the elegant Belvedere Hotel in downtown Baltimore. There will be 
over 100 guests. And they want our help!
They have asked the SCA to provide an hour of period 
entertainment--storytelling, music and/or dance and if possible a fighting 
demonstration. (They saw us at the Walters demo and were very impressed.)
Since I have a "foor in both camps", your humble chronicler, Szilagy Margit 
will be autocrating this occasion. The Atlantian Bard will be there to 
perform, and so far one other musician, Lady Yseult, a harpist. In addition, 
we are seeking:
              4-6 dances to perform one or two dances to tape music
               1-2 other musicians to lay together or solor
                one team  fighters (rapier or polearm) and a marshal to 
supervise.

I know it's hard for our gentles to get away at mid-day and mid-week, but 
this is a unique opportunity to show off our many talents and our spiff to 
folks who may not know who we are and what we do--but are an educated and 
appreciative audience.
Lunch will be provided, a changing room available,  and your parking paid 
for. In addition the Library has promised us a generous donation for our 
trouble.
