[MR] Phillip Bell Recovering from Surgery

Greetings!

Phillip Bell went into surgery Monday afternoon to have every bone in 
his neck and a back vertebrae worked on.  The work was more extensive 
than originally thought necessary.  Phillip is doing nicely and in quite 
a bit of pain, but pain management is being fine tuned and we just had a 
real nice conversation.  His present is dim, but he knows his future is 
bright.  He may leave the hospital on Friday or Saturday, stay with 
friends near the hospital for a week and then return home.

Some have asked where to send flowers.  Phillip requests that in lieu of 
anything like that, please make a donation to the Scrivener's fund 
instead and he would be just as thrilled.

be about ten days before you can begin expecting a response.  If you

Full recovery from this surgery is several months.  Phillip surely won't 
be making Estrella or Gulf Wars as planned, but hopes to see all of you 
again soon.  Please keep him in your hearts and prayers.
