[MR] Clarification - Rapier at Defending the Gate

	At Defending the Gate on March 30th 2002, in the incipient Canton
of Studentur, the rapier activities are described as "a triple elimination
 tourney to become the official "Champion" of the society." This is misleading.
In describing the tournament I compared  the format to that of the champions
tournaments at Gulf Wars and/or Pennsic and I believe that comment was
misinterpreted. I chose my words poorly and I paid the penalty.

	The rapier activities will be as follows:

	The concept is based on a letter of privelege where the fencing
society of the Marxbruder invited the fencers of a rival society, the
Federfechters, to measure their skills against hte Marxbruders.
	The rapier fighers present will be divided into two groups,
one representing the Federfechters and one representing the Marxbruders.
The fencers will participate in a triple elim (or double if there are a lot of
fencers present) until only one fencing school is represented. The members
of that team will all receive a small prize for their efforts.  THERE WILL
BE NO CHAMPION CHOSEN.
