  Ymir and archery

  After the feast of  AEGIR, the gods, angered by the words of Loki, bound him in a  cave and there placed a serpent upon his head so that venom  would forevermore drop into his eyes. There he awaits in  great pain waiting for Ragnarok, forever plotting in his mind  how to take revnge upon the gods. Now the monster Fenris, son  of Loki, has sent Hati and Skoll to free him to hurry the  oncoming of Ragnarok. Odin calls upon all his great and  skilled archers to come to the Tourney of Ymir and vanquish  the wolves in their attempt to free Loki. To the best archer  of the day will go a handmade Hickory bow nicknamed "The  Snake".
