[MR] Dance Symposium: Flyer Clarification

With the Third Atlantian Dance Symposium happening this coming Saturday
(http://isenfir.org/academie/symposium/), I wanted to take the opportunity
to clarify a possible bit of confusion regarding the policy towards
collection of fees that the site has levied upon us.

The event flyer, in both the paper and online versions of the =Acorn=, says
the following: "Cost: The site fee is $5.00 per person received by 2/2,
$8.00 afterwards. Advance registration is STRONGLY encouraged, as site rules
prohibit money from changing hands on site."

This is admittedly confusing, because in fact, money *can* change hands on
site, provided that it is in the form of a donation.

*** The (strongly) suggested on-site donation will be $8.00. :) ***

The confusion was due to an unclearly-stated requirement that the site
management had recently implemented. This requirement was *not* documented
in either our contract or in the "use policy" paperwork we received, but we
have a long-standing relationship with this site, so we didn't mind being
flexible. Mistress Gwendolyn did _not_ make a mistake in the =Acorn=... the
text is exactly what I provided her for publication.

Anyway... please do NOT think that if you're unregistered, you cannot attend
the Symposium. Just like virtually every other event in Atlantia, you can
arrive on site and pay a daytrip price at the door to come in and have fun.
:)

If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for
your indulgence.

Yours,
// Vard //
