[MR] Spirit of Christmas Passed...

Well, another Christmas has all but gone by... the
carnage was tremendous, the kids are sated, the
in-laws hosted all 15 of us for gifts and munchies all
day, and Santa's helper here is about to go get some
much-needed shut-eye to make up for being up all night
last night... thank heavens the kids, who camped out
dead in front of the fireplace in hopes of surprising
the guy in red, are sound sleepers... not a wiggle
through stockings, gifts, and cookies and milk
disappearing... notes of thanks being written and left
for them... etc. Jonathan, the 10-year old, is
convinced it was Santa who picked him up from the
floor in front of the fireplace and deposited him on
the couch so as to make room for the huge pile of
gifts - I agree with him, as I sure can't lift his
100+ pounds from the floor at a dead weight! They
sleep like I did at that age - you can have a complete
conversation with them and they won't remember a thing
in the morning. Hope you and yours had an equally
glorious time, and can get a really good night's sleep
tonight... before having to clean up tomorrow, find
places to fit in all the new stuff, take care of the
one or two returns/exchanges, etc.... Merry Christmas
