There is a fabric shop that is just called "Fabric Clearance Center" which is a division of 1502 fabrics. They have a fairly large center of upholstery fabric, all between $5 and $10 per yard. Very nice quality, though a bit limited for period fabrics. They are located on I-85 (new) at the High Point exit. (furniture market exit). If anyone's interested, I can give better directions depending on where you are coming from.

| Mill Outlet Village on US-1 North of Raleigh, for one place. It's about a
| mile north of where I-540 crosses US-1. WSW may have had a bigger
| selection, but MOV is well organized and well lighted.

Their prices aren't as great though, or weren't the 2 times I went...
there's also Not Just Linens down farther in Sanford - www.notjustlinens.com
for directions - smaller than WSW, but good for upholstery stuff, and
everything they have (except a bit of overpriced silk) is $7/yard for 60
inch upholstery fabric...
