You can ask, but I doubt that they can deliver... (not that I'm an
expert). Paid parking was available in an area that is now camping space.
There is only so much land... There is no way that the newly-opened blocks
adjoining the battlefield will be converted back to parking areas - the
necessity for access by porta-john cleaning trucks dictates where camping is
authorised and where it is not. With that growth of population and
land-space in mind, you are asking that folks camp (and walk to and from)
areas on the fringe of the available space in order to make way for car
parking. I doubt that would be something that would be appreciated by anyone
but the few who were parked there. I certainly would not want to trek
through parking lots to get to the main attractions of the event on a daily
(or hourly) basis.
If you are really unhappy about the parking situation, you may want to
see if you can volunteer to assist the staff in providing outstanding
methods of mass transit to and from the parking areas as well as throughout
our expanded site.

In service,
Rosine
