Mark your calendars and make plans to attend the Second Annual Market Day
and Fair hosted by the Canton of Charlesbury Crossing!

The event will be held the weekend of November 15-17, 2002, at King's
Mountain State Park in Blacksburg, SC.

Many of you are probably wondering: “Just what is a Market Day?”  Our
Market Day is envisioned as an opportunity to bring your excess SCA gear
or SCA-related Arts and Crafts and give, trade, barter or sell them away. 
Those of us who have been in the SCA for many years often have redundant
gear due to upgrading over time.  The older stuff is lying around and
cluttering up the castle!  Newcomers are always looking for beginning gear
or an opportunity to upgrade their gear.  Here is an opportunity for both
parties to meet and for both to benefit by it.  Think of it as something
on the order of a Medieval Garage sale.
