  Not everyone has the same POV. I for one "DO" adjust prices to the venue. I will discount based on volume and occasionally I discount based on what the customer says they are going to do with the item. I sell period artifacts and the special ones only get sold to active Scadians. I discount to newbies and to new members of incipient groups. I do not discount at SCA events, but I do raise prices at public events. I also never put a price tag on an item. I want to talk to people and discuss the item and Ya gotta haggle. See that's my version of the game. It's what my personna does. If I can play my game and have fun and help someone out then more the better.
