In response to either a question or a comment, I think from the
floor, one director noted how the some Kingdoms (notably the West)
handled the last NMS differently from required-extra-at-the-door, and
opined that the Board would be willing to consider alternative proposals
this time too. None of the other directors vocally disagreed (and I
recall at least a few nodding in agreement.)

(I would note that several GC members advocated a per-event
admission surcharge with some of the funds kept by the group/Kingdom. I
wonder if the Board would consider accepting some portion of the current
Atlantian "discount" plus some special levee at major events? Something
for the Royals and the Kingdom Seneschal to consider. I still don't
like it (especially the part about the Kingdom mandating the
surcharge/'discount' and its amount) but I dislike it somewhat less. :-)

David/Kwellend-Njal
who really wasn't the only Atlantian at the meeting. Or even the only
one who can write about it (since the Board member and the corporate
officer from our Kingdom have limitations on how much they can and
should say...)
