Calli is not susbscribed to the Merry Rose, so he
asked me to post this for him...
****************************
Are you ....
Going to Coronation and not sure what to do after
feast?
New to the area or the society and want to help out?
Hooked on service and need a fix badly?
Want free garb?
If so, have I got an offer for you. At Coronation I
will be headingb the clean up crew for the kitchen. So
I am looking for the best (or most willing) scullion's
to help with this task.
As payment for services each scullion will receive one
tunic (to be worn while cleaning) so your good garb
will not get dirty. The tunic is yours to keep and use
as you wish.
Remember YOU could be washing the pot that had the
food that went into the container that was sent to
high table that Her Majesty then moved to her plate.
Yes!!! You could be that lucky person.
If you are interested, contact me by email
sfcallic at pams.ncsu.edu and/or see me at Coronation. I
will have a small sign up near my pavilion when I am
ready for people to sign up.
All participants will be asked to make their mark on a
small scroll (contract) under which they will promise
to do the work for payment of one tunic to be
delivered before or at time of service.(Note: This is
not a modern contract. It is going to be written up in
a simple period style. To addmore flavor to a some
what messy job)
