It's not necessarily non-members who have a beef with the NMS.
I've been a member for years, and I don't like the notion. It's
also not merely a question of the expense, for me. What a person
who doesn't pay the Milpitas tithe costs the corporation is
mainly insurance, and that's $3.00 per person per annum-she
doesn't receive the periodicals, can't be an officer, and, in
lots of places, can't fight. The heralds support themselves
through their own fee structure, so anything she does with them
doesn't touch the corporation.

As Kwelland-Njal has noted, people have, via the GC, put forward
proposals and asked questions, and have gotten stonewalled.
