As we've been having inquiries, I thought I'd re-post
this message describing the Temp. At. activities for
Coronation and Crown Tourney. Artisans *are* allowed
to send their item(s) with someone else if they can't
make it to the event, by the way. :-) KR
__________

TEMPORE ATLANTIA: NEWS FOR FALL CORONATION
Highlighted time period: CE 1250-1492

All items connected to this time period are eligible
for display or entry into general competition. NOTE:
There are 3 categories of competition for adults, as
well as multiple prizes for youth entries (artisans
under age 18)

Curious about how entries will be judged? The judges
will be using the standard Atlantian judging criteria
for adult's entries (*not* the judging sheets used at
KASF). Except when specifically noted, a prize's
sponsor is not the determiner of the winner--the
judges are!

1)As the theme for Their Highness' coronation will be
'the fall hunt,'hunt-related items may be eligible for
the following awards: Best in Show, Hunt Related; Best
Documentation, Hunt Related. Sponsored by the office
of the KMoAS.

2)There will be prizes awarded for overall "Best in
Show" and "Best Documentation" (items here do not have
to be hunt related). Sponsored by the office of the
KMoAS.

3)There will be a "King's Prize" for the Best Tool or
Weapon. His Majesty will wish to see the judges'
sheets on eligible items prior to making his
selection.

4) There will be multiple awards for artisans under
age 17(using the judging forms modified specifically
for youth competitions).

EARLY NEWS ON FALL CROWN TOURNEY!

1) The Scrivner Royal is sponsoring multiple scribal
awards. You can find full details at
http://moas.atlantia.sca.org/tempore.htm

specifically English in nature. One for Best
Documentation of an English item, and one for 'Best in
