Thank you all for your replies off-list,
I have been reading this stuff for the last couple
days and was only stating what was already said by
others on this e-mail, that is why i asked the
questions, things needed to be clarified and i wanted
to bring a new point of view to something that is
being beaten to death.
the only thing i had a real problem with was the
statement that non-members contribute nothing, i
joined the sca 12 yrs. ago in southern maryland next
to a collage, the collage numbers were pretty large -
their paid membership -VERY small, yet if it weren't
for them we would never have pulled-off ANY of the
events we did.
a $3.00 non-member fee, a $3.00 atlantia-member
discount, it's all the same, just a different name for
the same thing: pay-to-play.
