[MR] This weekend's Novice Tournament

Pictures from Baelfire Dunn's Novice tourney can be found at

novice tourney as I had hoped but did better than I expected in the open 
tourney.  Met the owner of a most awesome helm crafted by the Hammered 
Wombat in Alaska.  I remember seeing pictures of this helm on the armorer's 
discussion group and it looks even more awesome in real life.  Something 
about seeing it on the head of an opponent in combat.....

For my first real event, I was pleased to see many familiar faces and had 
the honor of a _very_short_ bout with King Logan.  I hope for a rematch 
some day.  My other honored opponents fought well, and did pickup bouts 
after the tourneys ended, and received pointers and tips from several 
knights as well.
