Although the replicas on the Rayne Foundry page are amazing, as a
Toxicologist, I feel obliged to point out that in miniscule letters on
their website is the following
"Safety Note:
We are obliged to point out that the lead and
copper content of the bronze pots are above current limits. Please use
bronze pots for display ONLY."
But then they sell the bronze pots for medieval and earlier re-enactors.
Using these pots and cauldrons could be very dangerous. Please do not
use the bronze pots for *anything* other than display. Use the cast
iron replicas if you want to cook with them. It is not worth risking
your health just to have a slightly more appropriate cooking utensil.
