If you are planning to attend the upcoming Jongleurie in Elvegast there are
several important things you should know.

The event flyer is available at

Please reserve early. All fees increase by $1 after May 10 (so you could be
paying as much as $19/adult for the weekend if you don't send reservations).
There is no seperate day-trip fee.  High Feast is limited to 90 people.
Peasant feast is limited to 50. There are 120 bed spaces.

The gates of Umstead Park are locked at 8pm each night and do not re-open
until 8am.  A park ranger will open the gates for a few minutes each hour
until midnight to let people in and out on Friday night.   If you plan to
arrive after midnight please make other arrangements.  There are numerous
hotels in Raleigh along US-70. On Saturday he will probably only do a 10pm
and midnight run to the gate. Parking at the site is limited. Please
carpool.

Merchanting is not permitted by the site. 

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT ALLOWED.  Period. Not even in your own unmarked
bottles. This will be enforced strictly. Violators *will* be referred to a
local, on site, law enforcement officer. That would look very bad on an
event report and bring shame and disgrace on your name for generations to
come. I am not joking.

There are primative cabins (no electricity) that each sleep 2-4 people and
are equipped with bunks (120 total).  Actual cabin assignments will be made
on site. Tent camping is *not* permitted. There are a couple large cabins
without bunks that can accomodate 8-10 people on the floor. Your group must
contact me AND send reservations together if you would like to use one of
these.

We still need instructors for workshops, classes and activities. The A&S
theme is leisure and performing arts.

Despite all these obstacles, we still plan to have a marvelous time. :)
