[MR] Rapier at Sapphire Joust

Greetings all,

That jewel of Atlantian events, Sapphire Joust, is coming up next month.  If
you haven't checked your Acorn, it is being held at Westview on the James,
the site where Havordth and Mary-Grace's Coronation was held.

This will be very much like the traditional Jousts with 2 1/2 days of camping,
cabin and tents both.

So why am I writing all this???  At the behest of the wonderful Dame Margaret
Cameron, I'll be running the rapier for the weekend.  We'll have a great 
tourney
on Saturday and Sunday will be melees, melees and more melees.  There
are plans for melee classes and more fighting than any one person should
be allowed to enjoy.

I'm encouraging all ships in the ATC to show up and be prepared to test
yourselves and your crews.

Did I mention that there will be melees? *G*
