April 27th - Spring Revel, Hastilude, Central Region
War Practice, and
Isenfir's Red Mountain Inn
Barony of Caer Mear/Incipient College of Caer
Gelynniog (formally Caer
Gelin), Palmyra, VA.

Greetings Lords and Ladies - As spring awakens in our
fair land we
invite
you to shake off the coverings of winter and join us
in a day of
revelry and
fighting, followed by a feast and dancing in the
evening. Bring your
coinage
of the realm to enjoy the pleasures provided by the
Red Mountain Inn.

The Hastilude (A Spear Dueling Tourney) and Central
Region War
Practice:
As in the past, the hastilude features everything
about spears:
authorizations, instructions, a single-elimination
tourney, team melees
at a
barrier, and a mass melee with two sides. Team size
in the team melee
will
be dependent on the number of attendees, but
preferably 4 or 5.
Authorizations begin at 10:30 am and will last no
longer than one
hour. If
you want to authorize, BE PUNCTUAL. The single
elimination tourney
begins
immediately after authorizations. After a short
combined lunch break
and
instructional session, the team melee will commence,
closing with the
grand
melee. Immediately after the grand melee there will
be a Central
Region
War Practice for all weapon forms. We're serious
about starting on
time!
