As spring approaches, our thoughts turn to the flight of the arrow to its
pure path to the golden circle or the body of a hapless victim.  We
invite the archers of the kingdom to join us for a day of shooting and
boasting and tests of skill as will challenge the best archers in our
fair kingdom.

There will be a multitude of contests throughout the day including the
infamous Lochmere walk-through shoot featuring the evil purple and blue
dinosaur everyone loves to hate.  Many new and thicker targets have been
prepared to test your skill and knowledge. There will also be a prize for
the most well presented archer (equipment, clothing, etc.).  In the
evening we will dine on roasted pig cooked whole over an open fire in the
huntsman's tradition, and tell stories of arrows split in the heat of
friendly competition.

The site will open Friday, May 17 at 4:00 p.m. and close at 10 a.m. on
Sunday.  The site is wet.  If you will be arriving on Friday to camp for
the night, please write that on your reservation.  The fee will be a
modest $7 no matter when you arrive or what you eat.

Directions:  Take your best route to Rt 50 East heading towards the
Chesapeake Bay Bridge.  You want the Rt 70 (Rowe Blvd) exit.  At the
bottom of the ram, bear right onto Rowe Blvd.  Cross the bridge (Weems
Creak) and make a left at the light.  Make another immediate left onto
Ridgely Ave., and proceed over the small bridge and up the hill.  Turn
right onto Riverview and follow it to the end.  Site is the white fence
on the right.  The route from Rt. 50 will be clearly marked.
