[MR] Windmasters Glassworkers meeting this Saturday

Windmasters' Hill Glassworkers Guild (and any
neighbors who are interested)

There will be a workshop and meeting held at my house
in North Durham, NC on Saturday, April 20th, from 12
until 4 PM. Meeting and potluck lunch will be from
12-1.  (You don't have to take part in the potluck if
you don't want to.) At 1 o'clock we'll light up the
torches. My initial focus will be on getting new
people started with the basics, or perhaps helping
others better their technique. You are welcome to help
do this, or work on your own thing if you prefer.
After about an hour or so, I will want to play myself.
 I plan it to wrap it up around 4, but we'll probably
play that by ear. 

As in the past, if you have your own lampworking
supplies, please bring them. If you don't,
please give me a call to find out what you need to
bring.  Also contact me if you need directions.  We
should have plenty of tables and sitting places, so
don't worry about bringing those this time. 

As an added bonus, we will be creating digital images
of our work, so bring along anything you have created
that you would like a digital image of. Especially
those things you would be willing to have added to the
guild's web page.  The web page is far from done, but
the current results can be viewed at

like to display your works, be listed as a member,
post papers or research you have done, or provide any
links to relevant pages, please let me know. This is
supposed to
be a community thing! 

If you are not a beadmaker, or cannot make this
meeting, but would be
willing to teach your glass working skill at a future
meeting, please get in
touch with me prior to this meeting so we can work you
in the schedule of
future programs.
