I imagine that some of you might be interested in this.
Perhaps it is also available at your local Barnes and Noble.
http://www.bn.com/

Last night I was in Barnes and Noble in Cary, NC and found 3-4
Early Glass of the Ancient World 1600 B.C. - A.D. 50
The Ernesto Wolf Collection (Exhibit Catalog)
Which apparently is the largest glass collection of it's'
kind in Europe. The first hundred and fifteen pages are
glass techniques. I picked up one of them for my library.
This is the period where most of the millefiore and cane,
and other glass techniques like mosaics and colors were
developed. The first hundred plus pages depicts these processes.
The last nearly three hundred depicts various pieces of
high quality early glasswork. Egyptian through Roman eras.

$15 down from $80. 400 pages, many illustrations in colour.
In the bargain section. Black paperback with a large eye on
the cover. It was in excellent new condition wrapped, so
these are not printing errors.

If you pass this information on - Cut and paste and do NOT
use my address.

As a matter of permanent policy I -never- want my posts sent
on to any newsgroup, especially the Rialto / rec.org.sca.
That is why I copyright the larger ones. They are generally
informative and valuable to many people. (Where I have encountered
behavioural problems I simply quit sending many of them to that
particular list. I am one of the few SCA members who writes
informative posts to international lists outside the SCA.)
You may send them on to your local email list, your friends,
or the Compagnia (glassworkers elist).
