[MR] Hotel Information for Collegium (April 20th)

Greetings, Noble Tavern-readers!
   We have finally got information for you concerning a hotel near Marinus'
Collegium event.

Where: The Travelodge, 4433 South Military Highway, Chesapeake VA
Phone: (757) 488-7900
Cost:  double - $38+tax per night. Mention the SCA
Deadline: Reservations have to be made by April 13th.
Reservations made after that date will cost $39.99+tax. I know, there's not
much difference in cost. The hotel is new, or newly renovated, and
comfortable. They have a swimming pool (although I forgot to ask if it will
be open this early in the season).

Directions to the hotel from the school are:
Turn left out of the parking lot, travel down Jolliff Rd (191) south.
You will eventually get to an intersection directing you to MILITARY HWY
(13/460) South. Turn right. You will travel under an overpass (I-58). On the
other side of the overpass, you will be able to turn left or right. Turn
left. Almost immediately, you will see a gas station/subway sandwich shop.
Beyond it is the hotel. If you turn right, you will come to a truck
stop/hotel complex. Good luck to you...(actually, they sell good boots
there).

Stonebridge school/faith baptist church complex marked by a red star. Follow
191 and you'll be able to see where it turns under the freeway. The Hotel is
located just off the map in the lower right corner.
