Good Sir Knight-
Such behavior will always tarnish the image of the unfortunate man who
would so insult his Queen, or any Lady, whether the Lady in question had
granted him the honor of fighting for her or not. I ask you though,
would it not be better to remove the opportunity ? Is there a problem
with us adopting a rose with the Queen's initial in it's center as a
symbol of the QOC? If the fair Queens of Atlantia are represented by a
rose wreath instead of a laurel wreath surrounding the usual arms of
Atlantia are we doing any great disservice to them or ourselves? True it
might be difficult for our kingdom when and if we have a Queen by Her
Own Right, but how would that take away from the honor of being part of
the Queen's Order of Courtesy? It might be simpler still to have our
monarchs represented by the same arms, with the consorts arms being
slightly different then whomever it was that won the tournament.
Am I incorrect or are not Queen's who win Crown Tourney represented by a
wreath of roses in other kingdoms?
My tuppence tossed in...
