I don't know if this is a feasible solution to the
problem, but I thought I'd throw it out there.  I'm
fairly new to the SCA, but I can't help noticing the
amount of hostility being generated by this debate.
Why not simply register both sets of arms, and the
current queen can choose which one she wants to use.
