Ingvild forwarded this to me. You weavers might be interested.

Another fallout from the 911 disaster. The Nordic Textile Conference
scheduled for the first week in October has been indefinately
postponed. They had commissioned 16 professionally constructed Warp
Weighted Looms for the class on WWLooms. They had to front the
construction cost and they are a self-funded (read -underfunded)
Museum in Seattle. According to Kay Larsen, liaison for the
conference, some or most of these looms will be up for sale. Price
range is $365 approx. plus shipping from near Seattle (she quoted me
about $75.00 for shipping). Anyone interested in weaving on a WWLoom
may be interested in contacting Fireside Looms in Port Ludlow and
asking them about the looms or contact Kay C/O the Nordic Heritage
Museum in Seattle. >>
