[MR] Windmasters' Hill Baronial Champions Event Status

Greetings Friends,

I have been in contact with the site (Special Forces Association), and it is
unaffected by the events of this past week. So please keep us on your
calendar; we look forward to having a great time at the event. Come and show
solidarity in our resolve not to let acts of terror disrupt our lives.
Further we ask that if you feel compelled, please feel free to wear a
ribbon, arm band, or other reminder of those we lost this week, especially
Master Aldwin Longwalker who shall be so dearly missed by those of us who
had the privilege of knowing him.

Sajah bint-Habushun has volunteered to set up a Red Cross Relief Fund box.
It will be set up near Troll. Please, if you have spare change drop it in
the box. She will deliver the monies collected to the Red Cross in Raleigh
Monday after the event. If you wish to pay by check please make check
payable to the American Red Cross and you can put SCA in the memo portion to
denote where your contribution came from.

Our fair Baroness Lucia will be having a formal tea during the day and our
great Baron Iacopo will be having a like fete sponsored by the Baronial
Brewers' Guild, Flagon and Cask. The guild meeting scheduled for that time
will have an abbreviated agenda due to recent events.
