heavens, they are flying, so as a journalist i am here to hopefully quell any 
rumors...first--congress has not declared war...congressman richard gephardt 
addressed the press today around lunchtime...i watched it on cnn..he said 
that congress will back the president and give him whatever tools he needs in 
order to do whatever is necessary...however, we still do not precisely know 
who we are fighting...check out this website for a 1998 interview with bin 
laden--www.pbs.org...go to frontline and find the bin laden interview...it's 
quite chilling as to his views on americans...chances are he is to be blamed 
for the attacks, however we must remain cautious...also, i've had some 
private e mails regarding relief funds...there are scams cropping up 
everywhere...donate only to the american red cross or the salvation army, or 
perhaps your local united way...if someone calls your home claiming to be 
from the nyc fire fighters relief fund, hang up...report them to the 
police...there are bottom feeders who are already trying to make a buck off 
of this terrible time...the red cross's monetary donation number is 800/help 
now..to donate blood in your area call 800/give now...if anyone has anymore
