I could not get through to Lady Diane's e-mail address, so I thought I'd post this generally...

My Lady Diane,
I am not certain where you are located, but my brewing store is Flying Barrel in Frederick, MD. They have a website at www.flyingbarrel.com
Also, check out the Supplier List on www.brewery.org This is a pretty good list by state.
May I suggest that you join the SCA Brewing List? It's a good group of people who like nothing better than helping out new brewers.
Lastly, what barony do you belong to? Maybe they have a brewer's guild?
Good luck with your brewing!

Yes, I know, another email from me but a different subject <g>.
Anyone know of a good brewing supply house here in the mid atlantic area, prefer with a website &/or catalog? I found a nice simple mead recipe on a pensic offshoot site & wanted to
try it.
I already have some one gallon glass jugs (got to love a local beer brewery & their "growlers" that cant be returned) & of course the honey, but looking to see if I need a water
trap or airlock. I know I need brewing yeast, it was recommended wine or mead yeast (which will take longer), but DE doesnt seem to have a supplying place.
Again, I apoligize for asking so many questions, but I wanted to dive into a couple different things. The blackworking thread that went through a couple months ago peeked my
interest but my sewing skills rot.
Again, thank you,
Diane
