Dear Friends et al;
	While we all must feel a great deal of outrage and even more
frustration; the only real cure is to actively do something about it.
There are many ways to assist our current state of emergency. Any, who
can, should consider blood donations. Retribution will come, whether it
is accurate and represents justice or not will be in the hands of our
leaders. I have never been one to subdue or impede a good bout of anger
or vengeance, but for most of us, we will be relegated to support roles.
We all do what we can.
	Please try and remember some of the co-related victims of these acts of
war. I have worked with many persons of Arabic descent who are more than
a little concerned. Let's not forget the internment camps of '41. If you
know a family or colleague in this position; it might be a good time to
call and offer support. Maybe even be seen in public with them. ALL US
Citizens and residents were attacked today. These acts were directed
specifically at the civilian sector. We shall not let the world see a
nation torn into civil strife by attacks against us. We will not revert
to our baser traits at the first pressures of terrorism. The breakdown
of social order and unity is the  goal of most terroristic acts. Now is
the time for ALL our diverse populace to pull together, in our homes,
our streets and with one voice behind the decisions of our CHOSEN
leaders.
	We as a nation are often criticized because we openly admit that we
sometimes determine that some persons are unfit to be members of a
civilized society and do openly and often publicly execute persons
deemed to be a danger to society. It may become a time when our military
and diplomatic leaders determine that there exists agencies and nations
that are unfit in their present incarnation to continue life in a
civilized world. If this happens we will be roundly criticized in the
world press. Just as the death penalty is often criticized and protested
by friends and family of executed felons. Many nations and groups will
not believe that their associates are beyond redemption.
	Debts will be paid. We must stand as one nation and one people in all
our diverse aspects to support what we have determined to be the US
conscience and way of life. This means for all our people. If you happen
to have a friend or a coworker named Ali, Abu, Aben etc., now is the
perfect time to step up and make sure they know they are a part of your
country. Their nation has been attacked too, and many stand in fear of
further attack from the peoples of that very same adopted homeland.
While the members of my family have been here more than 7 generations I
still realize that my daughters maternal great grand mother was named
Habib and they serve some very strange food at my wife's family reunion.
I for one will stand together in response to these attacks especially
with 1st and second generation Americans. Someone has to show them how
America works when its under real pressure.
