I see it similar to how the SCA regards religious activities at events --
there shouldn't be religious activities where someone is forced to
participate or where it could be construed that the SCA supports or
condones any particular belief.  The same goes for the government.

And yes, I think this is probably not the correct place to continue this
discussion, so I am ending this here.
