[MR] OT- concern for friends in Northern Atlantia and East

It's best to call first.  The response has been overwhelming.  Most places 
are now asking for people to make appointments.  Watch your tele's or listen 
to the radio.  Blood bank centers will probably be set up in many areas soon 
to be able to handle the larger amounts of folks.

One other thing folks may think about is contacting area disaster relief 
places.  Many firefighters, doctors, medics, etc will be transported to 
assist.  Some have families that need to be looked after.
