just so that my point(s) were all clear i agree that assumption can be a bad
thing.  however, i do want to remind everyone that if we get into a habit of
offering help there wont be any time for assumption as the assistance would
become commonplace.  and, on that note, i have heard from several (mostly
ladies) privately that there are those that dont ask if they can help but
simply start grabbing.  that too is a bad thing.

  At the event this past weekend, I had a bit more gear than normal and
asked for help and received it. Four kind gentles helped me carry my load in
one trip that would have taken me at least 3. Thank you Rafael, Azim, Marion
