here's the take on this...it is such a volatile time in our country, and i can assure you that it is not just one media corporation that is selectively playing music these days...whether it is "right" or "wrong" right now i think it's because of the tenuous situation we are facing...kind of like shouting "fire" in a crowded theater--what good would it serve but to incite emotions?  there are many songs out there that address situations like this directly, others have veiled references that could be misconstrued...i think the mass media is erring on the side of caution these days...now i understand the reasoning behind it...hope this helps...isabella
