I just want to point out that the World Trade Center Towers DID survive the 
impact of the planes.

It was the hideously high temperatures of the burning jet fuel that melted 
the steel columns and brought the buildings down.  An *hour* or more after 
they were hit.

The design of those buildings saved thousands of lives.
