Your Excellency, isn't Afghanistan already involved in a civil war or dispute, as evidenced by the bombings there Tuesday nite?
I think before we start thinking of bombing *anyone* or assuming whole countries are involved, we should find out exactly who is involved and what, if any, organization planned and executed the attacks. We do not currently know if bin-Laden is involved. Despite newspaper reports, Afghanistan and the Taliban have denied that he is under house arrest (a good move on their part).
In another article I read online, Kuwait arrested about 20 foreign students, no nationality given, that were in the streets celebrating the attacks. Should we blame that country also since they are part of the middle east?
Right now evidence is being collected, those who have experience and training are trying to find out who did this. Instead of making early accusations the rest of us should do what we can to help those who were affected.
If we start blaming whole groups for the acts of individuals, that makes us no better than the people who put Japanese Americans in interment camps during WWII. I for one would hope we have learned at least something in the past 50+ years.
