Actually, I thought it probably sounded like a later period reenactor
-- Civil War, possibly as early as 18th century -- due to the mention
of wearing vintage garments ... one so rarely sees SCAdians wearing
full period garments (though there are a few who incorporate TMS
artifacts into garb and armor) ...
