[MR] Reporting Back From KWAR

My fellow Atlantians,

I just returned from Known World Academy of the Rapier, and have two news
items to report:

1) There was no trouble at all checking a duffel bag full of swords and
daggers at the airports.

2) I got my first look at a schlager-only world.  I stood around with my
epee a good part of the day looking for anybody to spar with, but I only
found one fencer from the East who was similarly armed.  Between the locals
(who are allowed nothing else) and the visitors (who brought schlagers
because they are all the rage), this Atlantian felt like a bit of a bumpkin
in the big city.  My new schlager should arrive in the mail this week.
