Canton of Baelfire Dunn

The Canton of Baelfire Dunn invites all to cast aside their nobility and
join us for a weekend "below the salt". This is a new site in our fair
Barony, and it
promises to become a favorite.

We have many activities planned from a Heavy Cambok Tourney, to a Rapier
Scenario and Target Archery straight from the days of Robin Hood.
We have a special Treasure Hunt planned for the children, one that big kids
will want to participate in!

The Arts and Science competitions will be Gypsy Styled Encampments and
Tasteful Unusual Parrying Items (must be handmade).

We have planned lots of dancing and reveling for both Friday and Saturday
night. Please we want musicians of any skill level to please come! What
would a weekend with gypsies, pirates, thieves, tinkers and travelers be
without alittle bit of celebrating! We have a huge covered arena to play in
so bring all of your music makers.

We also request that any merchant that reads this to please come! Saturday
promises to have many of us and maybe mundanes, so please bring your finest
to sell. You need to bring your own tables and such, but we have a covered
area for all to set up under. Please contact the Autocrat for registration
and
questions.

Feast will be served Tavern style with a first come first served policy.
There will be vegetarian and meat dishes available. Please bring your own
feastware. There are also several eateries nearby if you so choose. Any
dietary concerns please contact Lady Alexandria Montgomery at
Pam.Munday at ipaper.com

The Site is VanHoy Campgrounds in Union Grove, NC. The site opens 5:00 pm
Friday and closes 12:00 pm Sunday. It is a primitive site, with camping
only. It is handicapped excessable with showers and bathrooms
available. Fires will be allowed and firewood is available to purchase. This
is also a wet site, no original containers, please.

Directions: From 77 North and South turn off on exit 65 NC Hwy 901 east
(from north turn left, from the south turn right). Turn right onto Country
Road go about 100 yards and the camp entrance will be on your left. Pull in
and look for Troll. There will be SCA signs posted.

Cost will be On Site = $7.00. Day Trip = $5.00. Feast will be first come,
first served. WE ARE NOT TAKING RESERVATIONS FOR FEAST. Primitive tenting
only, we will try to put groups together. Reservations are to be sent to
Lady Alexandria Montgomery (Pam Munday) 4352 Canova Forest Dr, Conover, NC
28613. (828) 459-9835 until 10 pm. Please make reservations payable to
"Canton of Baelfire Dunn/S.C.A. Inc."
