Greetings!

University is quickly approaching, and there are a few details to mention:

Current weather reports suggest a slight chance of showers late on Saturday, with highs in the mid 60's (a little lower on Sunday) and lows in the mid 30's.

The Tourchlight Rapier Tourney will take place at Camp Sky Ranch Friday night. It you are interested, contact Vyvyan at lutherbob at juno.com. The heavy Pas d'Arms information is available from either Viscount Karl (thekarlmarx at cs.com or 828/265-4263) or Sir Godfried (sirgodfried at cs.com).

When you arrive on campus (read: make the turn onto Dauph Blan) Saturday morning, we should have a person there to provide you with a campus map and directions to the building, and who can direct you to parking. If you need to go to the gymn first (see below), mention it then so we can park you closer to there.

If you need help carrying items to the building, please don't hesitate to ask! We plan to be staffed and ready to go by about 8:30 or 9.

If you plan to stay in the cabins for University, please let me know by this Tuesday. I will not hold any more spaces after Tuesday night. Be prepared with lots of blankets. An electric space heater might not be too bad.

If you are staying in the cabins...be warnered that the shower house is, well, a bit breezy. Much, much more comfortable showers can be had by coming to campus early and using the locker rooms in the gym. I can only speak for the lady's side, but the ones there are actually quite nice.

I will not be home much this week - at least not during waking hours - as we make final preparations. If you need to get in touch with me, you can email me, or leave me a message at the Dragon's Den, 828/265-4263. I'll get back with you as quickly as I can.

Thanks, and we look forward to welcoming you in less than a week!
