[MR] spice mixture

Does anyone know a period reference for a hot, middle
eastern spice mixture similar to modern Ras el Hanout
or Berbere mixtures?  I have already looked through
Cariadoc's Misc. and found lots of spices but no
mixtures.  Thanks in advance for your assitance.
